| KEYHOLDING & ALARM RESPONSE
Introduction: This programme aims to provide the learner with the basic skills, knowledge and understanding required to ensure the provision of a professional level of service as a Response Officer. For Whom Suitable: All Security Officers required to respond and deal with alarm activations. The Response Officer is usually the first to the scene of potential crime and has therefore to quickly determine the cause of the alarm and take decisive action to deal with it. The quick and effective action taken by the Response Officer can therefore prevent criminal activity, as well as save lives, property and premises. It is also suitable for Control Room Operators, Supervisors, etc. who have the responsibility to manage and direct the Response Officer at alarm activations. S.I.A.
